USMNT star Christian Pulisic sets ambitious ‘goal’ for AC Milan that will allow American forward to remain part of the European elite

The United States international is enjoying a productive second season at San Siro. Personal bests were posted in his first, with the 26-year-old forward now looking to raise that individual bar even higher. He has 10 goals and seven assists to his name in 2024-25.

Two of those assists were posted when stepping off the bench to make a game-changing contribution against Empoli, with Pulisic further underlining his value to the collective cause. He has helped Milan up to seventh in the Serie A table.

They are seven points adrift of the Champions League qualification spots with 15 games left to take in, and that is the stage that Pulisic wants to be competing on. He told DAZN after inspiring a 2-0 victory over Empoli: “We want consistency and to finish in the top four. That’s our goal.”

Pulisic has hailed the “spirit” in Milan’s camp, with success having already been enjoyed this term in the Supercoppa Italiana. Pulisic has grown accustomed to gracing elite continental competition, winning the Champions League with Chelsea in 2020-21, and the Rossoneri need to remain part of that pack in order to keep prized assets on their books.
